This 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD LS is a 2 Owner truck that is
very clean, and a very original rust free truck from the Pacific
NW. These 1500 HD trucks are pretty cool. They came with the bigger
6.0L motor, heavier duty transmission, and heavier duty suspension.
This was a much stouter truck than the regular 1500. This truck
spent its life in Oregon so it is clean. The body is super clean
and straight and the Olympic White paint appears to be all original
with the exception of the roof which was painted because of some
clearcoat issues. The paint all still looks excellent!! All of the
chrome and moldings are original and really nice. The bed was
professionally bedlined and looks excellent. The underside of this
truck is also really clean and we found no rust issues with this
truck.
The interior on this truck is all original and in excellent shape.
The seats, headliner, door panels, rubber mat, dash, dash bezel,
are all super nice. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and
turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. This truck has
tilt wheel and woking cruise control. The power windows and power
locks work. The horn and windshield wipers work. The heat and AC
are also working. It is just a great example of an original
interior with everything working.
Mechanically this truck is top notch!! The engine is the original
6.0L Vortec V8 that runs strong and smooth with no issues or red
flags. The engine appears to be all stock. Recent maintenance
includes a new water pump and new radiator. The transmission is the
the bigger 4L80E (nice upgrade for HD model) that shifts nice and
it is mated to the np246 transfer case. The 4WD works like it
should. It has the 10.25 AAM rear axle with 3.73 gears and the IFS
front axle with 3.73 gears. This is all sitting on stock HD
Aluminum Wheels with newer Pathfinder All terrain tires size
265/75/16. This would make a great everyday driver, work truck, or
extra vehicle for towing.
