Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1949 Ford
F-3. The first F-series Ford truck was produced from 1948-1952. It
was the first to be built on its own beefier chassis intended to
accommodate more heavy-duty use. The F-3 was built mainly as a
pickup or panel truck model. The truck sold well to farmers, small
business owners, and commercial users alike. Ford developed even
heavier duty trucks denoted as the F-4 through F-8. The presence of
strong/ utilitarian Ford trucks has dominated the market to this
day. This 1949 Ford F-3 pickup is painted in clearcoat yellow.
Tastefully matched up with a set of five-spoke chrome US MAGS
wheels and a wood paneled bed floor. The tastefully done interior
consists of two-tone beige bucket seats, center console
w/cupholders, and full carpeting. Other features include tilt
steering wheel, modern gauges, Pioneer AM/FM/cd radio, and Vintage
Air/Heat. Under The hood is a highly chromed 350 V-8 attached to a
four-speed automatic transmission. Power steering and front disk
brakes have been added to make this 1949 Ford F-3 an enjoyable
driver.
