Vehicle Description
This custom 2-door 1986 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer is an example of a
low-mileage original Cherokee LS conversion XJ. It is powered by a
GM 5.3-liter LS Vortec V8 engine mated to a built 4-speed 4L60E
automatic transmission with HD internals, a Novak upgraded
dual-range transfer case and a Ford 8.8-inch Trak-Lok rear
differential. It is still wearing its original factory paint of
Olympic White over the stunning original red plaid cloth
upholstery. The built Chevrolet LS engine is equipped with a 3-inch
stainless-steel fabricated custom exhaust system with powered
cutout, custom stainless-steel headers, performance roller camshaft
and lS6 intake manifold. Power is sent through the built 4L60E
automatic transmission to a Novak transfer case adapter with a
billet shaft. The off-road capabilities are enhanced with a custom
suspension featuring a lift with Rough Country components, Nitro 3
shocks, Nitro 3 steering damper, heavy-duty springs and tubular
control arms, as well as a brush guard and 15-inch steel wheels.
The interior features a Pioneer CD stereo. This Cherokee Pioneer
has a clean CARFAX.
