This 1946 Super Deluxe coupe is a superb example of a classic Ford
model. The current owner (28 years) conducted a careful restoration
in 1994. The exterior received a professional Burgundy re-spray
that is in overall good condition, but does have minor
imperfections in the finish due to some dust at the time of the
spray process. All of the chrome is excellent and factory steel
rims w/trim rings and caps mount 6.00x16" bias ply wide-whites. The
restored interior is in very good condition. Seats and door cards
were reupholstered in grey cloth/vinyl and the classic dash mounts
factory gauges and an AM radio (currently inop). The coupe is
powered by 239ci flathead V8 that was rebuilt in 1994 and was
factory rated at 95hp-170lb/ft. It is mated to a three-speed manual
transmission w/column shift and factory differential. The electrics
are 6-volt and brakes are 4-wheel hydraulic drum. The Ford has
received recent major service including work on the fuel system and
new brake master cylinder, hoses, shoes and front wheel cylinders.
This Super Deluxe coupe is a classic piece of Ford history that
belongs in your Blue Oval garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
