Vehicle Description
1965 Pontiac Grand Prix Why This Car Is Special You may have
thought all of Pontiac€s muscle cars were GTO€s and Firebirds?
Not true as the 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix had one of the most
powerful standard V8 engines of its brand and of any of the other
brands full sized cars back in 1965 too. We have a swoopy looking
and restored in 2010 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix here at Skyway
Classics in a great color of Nightwatch blue with a white top and
plum interior and cars like this full-sized 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix
hardtop were built for both comfort and performance. Features 1965

at 333 horsepower looking oh so stock in its nicely detailed and
correct engine compartment, wearing Pontiac Turquoise engine
enamel, on its block, heads, intake, and valve covers, stock black
factory air cleaner with the 389-4 decal, 4 barrel carb, factory
cast iron exhaust flowing back to the dual exhaust, backed by a
3-speed automatic transmission, and rolling on steel factory wheels
with wire PMD chrome hubcaps and white sidewall tires. It all sits
in a very well restored, painted, and detailed engine compartment
that looks as it did back in 1965. Interior Our Pontiac has a plum
colored twin bucket seat interior with center console, matching
rear bench seat and door panels, Pontiac wood grain dash with its
full array of factory gauges, clock, pushbutton radio, and factory
Pontiac steering wheel. The bucket seated interior is free of rips
and tears, and all the gauges are in working order including the
signature Pontiac Vacuum gauge on the center console. And this big
Pontiac has a massive trunk that holds a full-sized spare and still
offers enough room for a group of five to carry, well, everything
they own in it and on what looks to be the original style trunk mat
and tire cover too. Exterior The Pontiac had a restoration in 2010
and was resprayed with the born with Nightwatch Blue body paint and
original Cameo Ivory roof. All GM B body cars of this time were
restyled with the new Wide-Track Pontiac styling as these cars were
wider, lower, and longer with maximum emphasis on the coke bottle
lines along the flanks, stacked headlight, and split grill
signature that Pontiac pioneered years earlier, giving a lot of
character and contributed to making this Grand Prix one of the most
popular body styles ever produced. Conclusion This restored 1965
Pontiac Grand Prix we have here at Skyway Classics has a lot of
originality with classic looks and 389 big block performance that
makes it a big, fun, comfortable cruiser that proves you don€t
have to give up performance to get a little luxury. Call today! So
