This factory “True SS” Convertible was upgraded extensively for one of our favorite clients a few years back. There has been less than 1000 miles driven since this LS conversion was performed right here in our facility. A new GM 6.2L LS3 with 430 horsepower was selected along with a new 4L65E 4-Speed Automatic Overdrive transmission. At the rear a Currie 9” Posi Traction rear axle was installed along with an aluminized dual exhaust system which provides the proper tone. As safety and handling issues are always important to us, Wilwood disc brakes were added at all 4 corners with drilled and slotted rotors and red calipers. The suspension was upgraded with larger diameter sway bars, QA-1 Coil Overs, Hotchkiss Suspension and quick ratio steering components. Polished 17” American Racing wheels were selected for their perfect retro styling along with Cooper performance radials. On the interior, a new Vintage Air and Heating system was installed utilizing the factory vents and control panel which provide a completely stock appearance. Dakota Digital’s Analog Instrument cluster also seamlessly integrates with the stock dash bezel and provides superb illumination and accuracy. The cosmetics speak for themselves, the exterior finish is extraordinarily nice and with the contrast of the red interior is nothing short of stunning. This is one of the nicest, well constructed Impala’s that we have had the pleasure of being associated with…no disappointments here.
