1981 VOLVO 262C, BERTONE COUPE, RUST FREE ARIZONA CAR.
This has to be the worlds cheapest 262C, and it is a rust free Arizona car!!! One of only 912 Volvo 262C produced in 1981, the last year they were made.
The Volvo was donated to MADD in 2002 and sold at an auction, a friend bought it, drove it in to his backyard and it sat there until i bought it last year.
At some point before it was donated the owner pulled the (troublesome) V6 Volvo engine and installed a Dodge V6 instead. Probably a good upgrade. Personally I would install either a Volvo 4 cylinder engine or a small block V8, I think there's kits to install V8 engine in the older Volvo and they drive fantastic with the V8 under the hood.
The interior is in black Italian leather, door panels, seats, headliner, it's all leather.
The 262C is a project car, it has not been started as far as I know since 2002 but the body is excellent, the car is at least 99% complete and it has an Arizona title.
The Volvo is so cheap that it can be bought as a parts car even (I have a person wanting to buy 4 small pieces for $500, will give the buyer his phone number).
The Volvo is in Phoenix, Arizona.
