The car was acquired by the seller from what is reported to be the
2nd or 3rd owner of the car. The original owner is said to have
driven the car very sparingly and maintained the GTO in a climate
controlled garrage for 40+ years. The paint and body, convertible
top, carpet, interior upholstery, floor mats, glass and trunk
appear to be unrestored and original, but not confirmed. Of note is
the GTO Deluxe Steering Wheel that shows well. The odometer shows
11609 miles, but not confirmed to be original. Please review the
pictures presented in this listing to make your own
determination.
The Chrome and brightwork appear original to the car and the
underside of the car shows in original, unrestored condition.
The seller reports that upon acquiring the car, there were several
engine leaks that he chose to professionally address. The engine
was professionally rebuilt addressing all the leaks. The engine
paint color is not the correct Pontiac color but shows well. The
engine compartment presents very well. Along with the rebuild to
the engine, a new heavy duty clutch was installed.
Included with the car is all PHS documentation and the reproduced
original window sticker! The seller reports the Radio and Heater do
not work at the present time.
