1966 Studebaker Avanti II - This is extremely rare. 350 Chevrolet
V8 Engine and Automatic Transmission, Designed and developed by the
president of Studebaker Sherwood Egbert 1962. Assembled @
Studebaker Automotive Plant, South Bend, Indiana. Avanti was named
the honorary pace car. Front engine, fiberglass body, touted as
'America's only four-passenger high-performance personal car.'
Advantages Took the world by complete surprise, on release. Nice
Avanti Maroon paint. Nice lines and gaps. Totally innovative below
the bumper front grill. Captured the downdraft of air. Beautiful
rear chrome bumper with bumper guards. Separate backuptaillights.
Beautiful black interior, an amazing amount of rear space and
legroom. Runs and drives great. A head turner for sure.
