Vehicle Description
This 1965 Shelby Cobra CSX 4000 roadster was special-ordered in a
Shelby American color commemorating the 50th anniversary of Shelby
at Le Mans. The fiberglass body is finished in Guardsman Blue with
Wimbledon White Le Mans stripes. It rides on Halibrand knock-off
wheels and has the classic wood-rimmed Shelby steering wheel. Power
is provided by an aluminum 427ci side-oiler V8 engine that sports
medium-riser aluminum heads and a Shelby-style side-winder intake,
backed by a 5-speed manual transmission.
