This classic Dodge Charger SE has been the beneficiary of a careful
partial restoration (2020) and the owner has preserved the
originality of this sporty fastback. The body was refinished in
Light Gunmetal Grey and the black vinyl top is in good condition as
is all chrome/stainless. The SE was optioned with concealed
headlights and 15" Chrysler Rallye Wheels that mount Firestone
Firehawk radial tires. The interior is in overall very good
condition. Original blue leather upholstery has been well cared for
and new carpeting was installed. The charger is optioned with
factory air (needs TLC), tinted glass, walnut trim, analog gauge
package and AM/FM sound system. The Charger is powered by a
Chrysler 383ci 'Wedge' that was factory rated at 300hp and 409lb/ft
(SAE gross). The engine is said to have not required a rebuild, but
has been fitted with Hedman tube headers and dual exhaust. The
powerplant is backed by a Chrysler 727 TorqueFlite automatic that
transfers power to a factory 8-3/4" differential with street
gearing. The chassis is equipped with power steering, power
disc/drum brakes and front sway bar. Front suspension is Chrysler's
traditional torsion bar design and leaf springs are used in the
rear. There are very few of these Dodge Charger models around
today, fewer still in this condition. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
IS".
