Vehicle Description
This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Resto-Mod convertible is powered by a
6.2-liter Chevrolet Corvette Connect & Cruise Gen V direct-injected
LT1 460hp engine paired with a 6-speed manual T56 transmission.
Under the hood are polished stainless-steel Ultimate headers, a
Holley Gen-LT1 premium black mid-mount drive system, Ron Davis
aluminum radiator and a Classic Update wiring harness. This
Corvette rides on custom-made EVOD wheels to match the 1961 hubcaps
wrapped by 18x8 whitewall tires. Stopping power comes from the
electric-boost power 14-inch Wilwood AEO06 brakes throughout the
front and back of the vehicle. The suspension is by IFS with an Art
Morisson multi-link and features an Art Morrison GT Sport C1
chassis with a 3.91 ratio IRS. Additionally, this Corvette features
an E-Stopp parking brake, Ididit steering column and a RainGear
wiper system. The underside has a freshly powder-coated gray
chassis, Rick's Vapor Series fuel tank with a 2010 Camaro pump
module and Borla 2.5-inch crate mufflers with resonators. The
exterior is finished in Bianco Monocerus White with a black fabric
convertible top and LizardSkin undercoating inside and out. For the
interior amenities, this Chevrolet features Rosso Red leather
seats, GEN-IV SureFit air conditioning, power window kit with
Nu-Crank switches, Dakota Digital RTX gauges, a clock and a
5-speaker AMP remote WiFi stereo system. This body-off build was
also upgraded with 1.5-inch GTS rear quarter-panels and has 247
miles since completion.
