Vehicle Description
This custom Pro-Touring-style 1958 Chevrolet Corvette convertible
was professionally built with a 6.2-liter LT1 direct-injected
Corvette engine with 460hp and 465 ft/lbs of torque. The engine is
paired with a 4L75E 4-speed automatic transmission. It features an
Art Morrison chassis with a C7 front end, fully adjustable ride
height and Strange coilovers. The frame was powder-coated in a
shade of silver to match the cove color. Stopping power is provided
by Wilwood brakes with 6-piston calipers, 14-inch rotors and
stainless-steel brake lines. It also has a power rack & pinion
steering, extended firewall, air conditioning, power steering and
brakes, a whisper-quiet Rick's Stainless gas tank, Fragola Teflon
fuel lines and fittings, GM wiring harness and factory-programmed
computer. The body is all-original and was completely stripped with
glass beads before being finished in PPG Jet Black and Global High
Solids Clear. The same attention to detail was performed on the
bottom side of the car, which was painted with a black ceramic
coating. The stereo is made to look like the original 1958 Wonder
Bar model with Bluetooth, JL amplifier, subwoofer and JL speakers.
The convertible top was completely restored. It rides on EVOD
one-off wheels made to look like a modern original style with
knock-off center nuts, along with shaved Nitto tires with added
whitewalls for a custom look. This custom 'Vette has 300 miles on
the build and comes with manuals and documents.
