Vehicle Description
Known as "Golden Ticket," this custom 4x4 1969 Chevrolet K5 Blazer
was created to be a 1968 50th Anniversary tribute. The theme is
carried throughout this frame-off rotisserie nut-and-bolt
restoration. It is powered by a GM LS2 364ci engine paired with a
3-speed automatic transmission. It is dressed to look as if it is
new, with Hugger Orange paint, Edelbrock fuel injection,
small-block valve covers and exhaust manifolds. A lot of creative
touches are in the engine bay, including the Vintage Air system
plumbed through the factory heater box for a retro look, but all
are updated to today's specifications. This Blazer is equipped with
an AC Delco battery tray, factory-style fan shroud and
snorkel-style air cleaner. It has a black All-American Billet
serpentine kit, power steering and power disc brakes, and includes
all-new wiring from American Autowire throughout. The rebuilt NP205
transfer case is very detailed. This Blazer is riding on a gloss
black powder-coated chassis with a 4-inch all spring Skyjacker lift
and a Boyd EFI fuel tank with braided fuel lines in the rear, along
with stainless brake lines, a dual MagnaFlow exhaust, and all-new
body bushing and fasteners throughout. Finished in 551 Gold Poly
and GM White, the body was painted on a rotisserie, so the belly is
painted gold as well. All the chrome and badging are new with
custom K5 fender emblems. All this sits on a set of 17-inch KMC
beadlock wheels wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich tires. The interior
features Parchment and French fully custom bolstered bucket seats
with NOS gold inserts from 1968, Dakota Digital RTX gauges, a tilt
column with a period-correct '68 steering wheel, retro stereo,
Vintage Air system, and a factory-restored Parchment console with
suede inserts. It also features a 50th-anniversary dash emblem and
GM door tags with updated latches. **TITLED AS 1969 CHEVROLET K10
