Vehicle Description
This custom 1967 Chevrolet Corvette started life as a factory
air-conditioned convertible and since has benefited from a
professional, Jerry Clark frame-off restoration with drivetrain.
Power comes from a 454ci big-block engine bored 0.30 and stroked to
489ci and equipped with Tri-Power carburetion, Air Flow Research
aluminum heads, a Lunati built and balanced rotating assembly,
Lunati hydraulic roller cam and MSD ignition. The engine makes a
dyno-tested 655hp with 590 ft./lbs of torque. The engine is mated
to a Keisler 5-speed manual transmission. Spent gases exit through
a set of Hedman headers with a side-pipe exhaust. Other upgrades
include stainless-steel brake lines, oversized half-shafts,
oversized calipers, heavy-duty sway bars, high-performance shocks
and Dynamat heat- and sound-deadening. The exterior bodywork and
paint were done by renowned J&M Corvette Auto Body in
Brooksville, FL. Finished in its original color of Tuxedo Black, it
is complemented with a Marina Blue hood Stinger and a black
convertible top. The black leather interior features power windows
and a teak steering wheel, with the rest of the stock-looking
interior coming from Al Knoch. The factory air-conditioning system
was restored and is functional. This custom Corvette rides on
15-inch wheels with chrome beauty rings and center caps wrapped in
a set of Bridgestone Potenza radial tires. The sale includes the
dyno sheet, restoration photos and two Corvette Enthusiast magazine
articles featuring the car in one and the engine build in the
other. **TITLED AS 1967 CHEV CONVE**
