Vehicle Description
This restored 1958 Chevrolet Impala convertible is powered by a
rebuilt 348ci engine with a 4-barrel carburetor paired with a
freshly rebuilt 2-speed Turboglide transmission that was serviced
at Lawrence Transmission. The powertrain is further enhanced with a
new fuel pump and a comprehensive tune-up. The suspension has
all-new bushings and a front-end overhaul, while every part has
been sandblasted and painted in a Satin Black finish. The body of
this classic has undergone a complete restoration using original
panels, skillfully resprayed to the 1958 correct color of Cay
Coral. All chrome elements have been meticulously redone, with
high-polished trims, rear skirts and a front lower grille. Factory
nail guards inside the door handles add a touch of authenticity to
the exterior. Notable features include power steering, power brakes
and a power top, complemented by twin mast trunk-mounted radio
antennas. The interior follows suit with a three-tone color scheme
that perfectly complements the exterior paint. All interior
elements are brand-new, and the convertible top, in a crisp white
hue, is equipped with a new motor. This Impala rolls on six new
Coker whitewall tires, accompanied by a spare and a Continental
kit. The vehicle has undergone a thorough maintenance regimen,
including a fresh oil and filter change with a zinc additive,
rear-end fluid replacement and servicing of the transmission
filter, fluid and gasket. The gas tank has been drained and
refilled, a new 850CCA battery has been installed, and the fuel
system has been rejuvenated with fresh fuel and a cleaned filter.
The ignition system is equally updated with a new AC Delco coil,
resister, cap, rotor and wires. ** PREVIEW
