Vehicle Description
This custom 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS was the recipient of a
comprehensive frame-off rebuild. During the full custom
restoration, this Super Sport was painted black, with a Dark Root
Beer engine compartment and accents on the interior. The power for
this Impala comes from a custom-built and modified 1969 Chevrolet
396ci V8 engine bored to a 402. A complete fuel-injection system
from Holley Sniper has been installed and professionally tuned,
along with a high-performance in-tank fuel pump. Air conditioning
is provided by a Restomod Air system with Bluetooth control and
infinite variable blower speed, temperature and position control. A
customized chassis includes a tubular-arm front subframe with
adjustable coilover RideTech shocks and Wilwood 2-inch drop
spindles and hubs. The power of this Impala is sent through a
TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission and carried on to a custom
Dutchman 9-inch rear axle with limited-slip and 3.73 gears. The
axle is supported with link-bar suspension, track bars, Panhard
bar, sway bar and coil springs with RideTech adjustable shocks.
Stopping power comes from 4-wheel Wilwood high-performance disc
brakes with line lock. The car rides on 17-inch U.S. Mags wheels
wrapped in Cooper Grand Touring tires. The interior features
all-black leather low-back bucket seats, door panels, dash pad and
trunk panels. The interior also features a Dakota Digital
instrument cluster and RetroSound Bluetooth stereo system. This car
has been driven less the 100 test miles since being completely
professionally restored.
