This custom 1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS is powered by a 454ci
8-cylinder engine that was modified with a Fast EZ-EFI
fuel-injection system, Sanderson short-tube headers, a MagnaFlow
exhaust system, a CVF black pulley system and an aluminum radiator
with dual electric fans. The engine bay was shaved and smoothed and
was color-matched to the exterior. The 454ci engine is paired with
a T400 3-speed automatic transmission. The custom-painted red
chassis is fitted with upper and lower tubular control arms,
adjustable coilover suspension, 4-wheel power disc brakes with
drilled and slotted rotors, a Wilwood master cylinder and a custom
powder-coated gas tank with an electric fuel pump. The
media-blasted body was finished in Onyx Black and the bumpers were
powder-coated to match. Additional exterior highlights include
custom door handles, chrome trim painted to match the body, Eddie
Motorsports hood and trunk hinges, and LED headlights, taillights
and turn signals. This car rides on one-of-one custom SevenK wheels
wrapped in Nitto tires. The highlights of the custom red interior
are a Billet Specialties steering wheel on a tilt steering column,
along with Billet Specialties shifter and pedals. The trunk matches
the red interior.
