original 289ci High-Performance K-code engine factory rated at
306hp at 6,000 rpm, paired with a C4 Cruise-O-Matic automatic
transmission. It is finished in the traditional Hertz black and
gold paint scheme. The interior features racing seat belts and a
dash-mounted tachometer. The original Shelby VIN plate and Ford
confidential serial number are present, visible and verified by the
Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC). This vehicle's detailed
ownership history is also available from SAAC. The sale comes with
copies of the original Shelby shipping and maintenance documents,
as well as restoration photos at various stages. The sale will
include a copy of the August 1993 edition of Mustang Monthly
magazine, in which this car was featured.
