Vehicle Description
Known as "Sweet Elaine," this custom 1971 Chevrolet C10 pickup is
the recipient of a full nut-and-bolt restoration. It is powered by
a 6.2-liter LS3 built by Mullenix Racing Engines backed by a
2-piece 4L70 automatic transmission. The engine is controlled by a
Holley dominator EFI system. The truck sits on a Porterbuilt front
and rear Dropmember suspension system. Finished in Nardo Gray and
white, it is equipped with a Painless wiring system, 4-wheel
Wilwood disc brakes, a full AccuAir E-level system and Tricky Air
bed struts on a remote control. There were lots of custom
fabrications on the bed, bead roll panels, shaved stake pockets and
marker lights. The exterior has a 1967 front end, one-piece window
conversion kit and full custom TIG-welded exhaust. The bed was
finished in black walnut planks with stainless inserts. The
interior features a Vintage Air system, JL Audio system with two
12-inch woofers and four 6.5-inch Coaxial car speakers. Built by
Fat Fender Garage in Gilbert, AZ, this truck took over 2 years to
complete. Featured at SEMA 2016 and recently in Street Trucks
magazine.
