Vehicle Description
This 1965 Shelby Cobra CSX 6083 has a black-painted fiberglass body
with a black leather-seat interior sitting on a 4-inch tube frame
with independent front and rear suspension, adjustable Bilstein
racing coilovers and Wilwood disc brakes. The 5.0-liter Coyote
engine was installed by Ford at the SVT facility and is paired with
a TREMEC TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission. The foot box was
dropped for extra leg room and Tilton foot pedals were installed.
The dash includes electric Shelby gauges with less than 200 miles
on the odometer. It includes a rack & pinion manual steering rack,
an aluminum radiator with an oil cooler, and stainless headers and
side pipes. The car is sitting on the original-style aluminum
pin-drive 15-inch wheels and Goodyear racing billboard tires, held
on by Shelby stainless-steel knock-off spinners.
