Vehicle Description
This 1971 Ford Mustang Boss is refinished in its original factory
color of Bright Blue Metallic and sits on Magnum 500 chrome wheels
wrapped with Firestone raised-white-letter tires. The interior was
refinished in its original factory color of blue knitted vinyl. The
car is powered by the original matching-numbers 351ci 4-bolt main
Boss V8 engine that was completely rebuilt. The engine was
factory-rated with 330hp and 370 ft/lbs of torque. The engine is
fed from the authentic Autolite 4300 carburetor and breathes
through an awesome-sounding dual-exhaust system. The engine is
coupled to the original matching-numbers 4-speed wide-ratio manual
transmission and original Traction-Lok rear axle with 3.91 gears.
The bucket-seat interior is equipped with a Mach 1 Sports interior
option, AM radio, console and power steering. It comes with a Marti
Report, original Ford Customer Service Division letter, original
Ford invoice (Lois Eminger Report), copy of the original Build
Sheet and two original dealership Bill of Sales documents. Other
documentation includes the original bank loan agreement, original
owner's manual, warranty booklet with original metal tag, original
Ford Consumer Information for U.S. Department of Transportation
with VIN, copy of title from 1971, original Missouri inspection
forms from 1971, 1972 and 1976, original Missouri registrations
from 1971 and 1977, reproduction Window Sticker and an original
photo of the car being detailed in the 1970s. From the Frank Tiegs
