Vehicle Description
This radio-delete 1958 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has been
comprehensively restored and is powered by an upgraded 327ci V8
engine with a 4-barrel carburetor, backed by a 3-speed manual
transmission. It is finished in Signet Red with white coves over a
black bucket-seat vinyl interior with a white convertible soft-top.
It also features a louvered hood, split chrome bumpers, fender
vents, dual exhaust outlets, 15-inch steel wheels, lap belts and a
dash-mounted rearview mirror. The engine bay has the correct air
cleaner with Corvette aluminum valve covers. The interior features
a color-coordinated dash pad, carpets and door panels with a
three-spoke steering wheel framing a sweeping 160-mph speedometer
and tachometer, as well as fuel, oil pressure, temperature and
battery gauges. Other amenities include a clock and heater. The car
was purchased 6 years ago out of the collection of the late Larry
Freeman of Reno, NV, and was stored in a climate-controlled garage
built specifically to display the private collection. The
convertible rides on Corvette spinner wheel covers wrapped in
Goodyear whitewall poly steel radial tires. This Corvette comes
with two tops.
