Vehicle Description
This 1970 Ford Torino 429 SCJ J-Code is fitted with the Drag Pak
and is powered by a 429ci 8-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed
Toploader manual transmission and a 3.91 Traction-Lok rear axle. It
was built in San Jose, CA, and, according to the Marti Report, is a
one-of-one example. It is finished in Dark Ivy Green paint over a
black interior. This example has been repainted, has a new exhaust
system and its interior upholstery has been replaced. All the parts
replaced were NOS, including the AM radio. The carburetor was
replaced with one that is period-correct, and the original is
included in the sale. Two of the four original wheels have minor
pitting on them. The bumpers have been rechromed, new tires were
