This custom 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am convertible is powered
by a fresh YZ-code 400ci Ram Air III V8 engine mated to a rebuilt
Muncie M20 4-speed transmission. It's equipped with a 10-bolt rear
axle with Auburn limited-slip differential and a custom aluminum
driveshaft. This car is riding on QA1 adjustable coilover shocks,
with Hotchkis leaf springs, X-brace, heavy-duty sway bars,
quick-ratio steering box and factory-correct cocktail-shaker
vibration dampers. It also has newer electrical components,
including a complete American Autowire full-harness kit. It is
finished in correct Cameo White with Tyrol Blue striping and a new
white power convertible top. The exterior is equipped with a
correct Ram Air hood, fender heat extractors, front and rear
spoilers, and factory-accurate Trans Am callouts. The Parchment
interior features bucket seats, a black dashboard, a wood-grain
center console, a 3-spoke steering wheel with tilt steering column
and a factory-style stacked instrument cluster with a tachometer.
