This 1971 Dodge Charger RT 440 is one of 77,000 Dodge Chargers sold
new in 1971 and one of 2,659 ordered with the R/T package. It has
an A727 3-speed automatic transmission and console shift. The
Charger was redesigned with a semi-fastback roofline, trunk lid
with an integral spoiler and six square taillights in an oval rear
bumper. The interior is dark green with high-back bucket seats.
This is one of 2,172 built at the Chrysler Lynch Road assembly
plant in Detroit, MI, of which 1,119 were produced with the Air
