Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 is the recipient of a frame-off
restoration. It is powered by a professionally balanced and bored,
period-correct 396ci V8 engine topped with dual-quad Edelbrock AVS
carburetors on a C66 aluminum manifold with a competition cam. The
V8 is paired with a replacement Muncie 4-speed manual transmission
and the original 3.76:1 posi-traction rear end. It is equipped with
Hooker headers, American Thunder Flowmaster exhaust, 4-wheel SSBC
slotted and drilled disc brakes, an aluminum radiator and added
factory-style power steering. During the restoration, the chassis
and suspension components were powder-coated. The only repaint was
completed in PPG paint in its original color of Bolero Red. The
body is all original and the car rides on Torq Thrust II wheels.
The sale comes with the original Protect-O-Plate and an L35 correct
intake manifold with Rochester QUADRAJet. This Chevelle has gone
1,500 miles since the restoration completion. ** PREVIEW
