1965 Peterbilt Recreational Vehicle in Scottsdale, Arizona
This custom 1965 Peterbilt pickup is the recipient of a two-year
build. It is powered by a V12-71 Detroit Diesel engine fitted with
twin superchargers and twin turbos that originated from a
generator. The transmission is a 740D Allison 4-speed automatic
with a 3.06 rear end. The radiator was re-cored. This vehicle rides
on an upgraded frame with air-ride suspension in the front and the
rear. The truck has 4-wheel disc brakes with all-new components
with a rear drum parking brake hooked to an electric actuator. The
roof was chopped 6 inches, and the vent windows were eliminated
