Up for Sale this week, Canyon State Classics brings to market a
super clean 1968 Mustang Coupe in Acapulco Blue over 2-Tone Blue
interior. This is a true 1-owner mustang bought in 1968 by the
original owner in Carolina before coming out to AZ in 1986 where
the car has resided since. The original owner has spent well over
10k recently getting the car mechanically squared away. This is a
great driver with potential to take to the next level or continue
to enjoy as it sits. Its becoming harder and harder to find nice
straight examples . Don't miss your chance to own this beauty!
The following list of options for this Mustang as it is currently
equipped:
-289 Cu Ford V8
-Automatic Transmission
-Power Steering
-Original Two Tone Interior
-Bucket Seats
-Console
-White Vinyl Top
-14" Wheels w/ Original Rally Hubcaps
The body on this little beauty is honest to the life it has lived.
The early years in the Carolina's made way for some mild corrosion
spots on the body- these can be seen at the bottom corners of the
C-pillar and where the white vinyl top meets the top of the rear
window (bubbling under the material). There is no evidence of any
panel repairs or replacements and paint touch-ups and scratches
have been pictured above. It is finished in Acapulco Blue and was
then hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish! The finish is a very
sharp and appealing, and will be perfect for car shows or just to
drive and enjoy! The chrome and trim is original with few dings or
dents or imperfections- it has not been changed! The car is sitting
on a set of 14" steel wheels with the original rally hubcaps and
Toyo white wall tires. The two-tone blue interior is in very good
shape and is a testament to how well the original owner has cared
for the car. The vinyl is in very nice shape. The door panels are
in good shape as well as the arm rests. The carpeting is nice and
the dash gauges are clean and bright. All the gauges work as they
should and the radio plays fine. The dash pad was replaced in 2021
and freshens up the interior. The inside is finished off with a set
of fresh period-correct Mustang mats. Mechanically, this little
Mustang is in great shape and it runs and drives like a top! Over
the last 3 years, the owner has spent over $10k getting the car
mechanically sorted. Everything under the engine compartment is to
factory specs and all correct components are present. This is one
of the nicest running and driving mustangs we have seen in a long
time. This thing is ready to be out on the road and enjoyed! Below
