This car was purchased 5 years ago from the original owner who took meticulous care of the car and only stored indoors. 71,000 miles, still have window sticker. Here are a few items that have been done to the car. I purchased from the original owners June 2018. The car had 65,000 miles. This is a number matching car – motor and transmission. It is a 350 CI motor and automatic transmission. The motor was rebuilt in 2016 increasing its HP to 400 with Edelbrock aluminum heads, intake, carburetor. Transmission was also rebuilt. Brake systems have been replaced. All new interior except seats. Paint job over 30 years old and only has minor small nicks.
Recently, installed a new starter, power steering pump, alternator, battery, tires, aluminum radiator, fan clutch, thermostat, ac blower motor, rear u joints and valve covers. No rust on body. Near new BF Goodrich tires. This car is VERY clean. You will look along time before you find one cared for like this one. Racing exhaust. This car is a real eye catcher and sounds awesome. Car drives and handles great. Has original painted t tops (slight damage to one) and a set of smoked glass T Tops. Both sets with cases. GM produced 6,707 in Red in 1979 out of 53,807 total production. This one also has rare leather oyster interior. (Only 9,316)
