2008 Mustang GT/CS Convertible ROUSH SUPERCHARGED
If you're looking for a rare Mustang you may be interested in this original 7300 Mile, One owner, 2008 premium Mustang GT/California Special convertible. As you can see in the photos below this mustang is one of 46 Grabber orange convertibles. The front and rear valances have changed with the rear showing polished rolled exhaust tips. The California Special stripes appear on the sides. This convertible was ordered rally stripe delete, the reason being, the owner had those stripes painted on the car and cleared. You will also notice this mustang has the optional Hood scoop, side scoops and Shelby rear spoiler. The convertible top is the optional cloth top in Black. The original wheels that came on this car were replaced with the 20 inch by 9 inch Shelby Razor Black wheels wrapped with Nitto G2 ultra high performance tires measuring 275x35x20 on all four corners.
The interior features the optional black and camel leather with 6-way power driver seat, security system with sensors, optional sound system, Shelby style roll bar with brake light, charcoal aluminum panels, heated seats, four-wheel anti-lock brakes with traction control and remote start.
The best part of this California Special Mustang is the drivetrain. When this mustang arrived at the Wyckoff Ford dealership in Wyckoff New Jersey it was immediately sent to JDM engineering Incorporated. Once there, a polished Roush 445 hp intercooled supercharger kit was ordered and installed on the 4.6 24 valve engine. Included in this kit were larger injectors, larger fuel pump, intercooler and the Roush air intake. Upon completion the computer was sent back to Ford where they reprogrammed it for the supercharger and increase in horsepower.
This mustang has the optional 5-speed automatic transmission while the horsepower is put to the ground through rear axle spinning 3:31 gears. This work was all done while still maintaining the factory warranty. This GT / CS convertible may be the only Grabber orange version that is supercharged with the Jack Roush Stage 2 blower.
