In 1967, however, Cadillac radically redesigned the Eldorado as a front-wheel drive hardtop coupe. When the Eldorado received the new 500 ci (8.2L!) V8 for the 1970 model year they had a truly unique unified powerplant package that fascinates enthusiasts to this day. This amazing 1976 Eldorado ups the ante with the late-year limited Biarritz trim package. These cars are distinguished by a thickly padded cabriolet roof with formal rear windows, opera lamps, color keyed wheel covers, unique chrome mouldings, and pillowed leather 50/50 front seats.
