1941 Plymouth Deluxe (Model P11) business coupe, original flat head 201 cubic inch 6-cylinder engine and 3-speed column-shifted manual transmission, mostly stock original except for one re-paint (original color) and re-chromed bumpers. Runs and drives like a '41 Plymouth should with new fuel tank and sending unit, new vacuum windshield wiper motor, and like-new 6.00 x 16 Coker Classic 3-1/2' wide whitewall tires. Solid body and frame and factory original interior with new rubber flooring. Under the hood, this P11 coupe appears to have much of its original factory-installed parts including 6-volt starter, generator, carburetor, distributor, ignition coil, and radiator. Comes with factory bumper jack, tire iron and tire removal tool (with instruction sheet), engine hand crank, owner's manual, service manual, and build card along with numerous Plymouth dealer sales brochures in addition to six laminated 1941 LIFE magazine full page Plymouth advertisements. According to a copy of the vehicle's microfiche build card (Service Record) which was obtained from Chrysler historical records, this Plymouth Deluxe Coupe was built at the Evansville, Indiana assembly plant on April 30, 1941 with a Briggs-Ind. Body No. 313 A 6534 and Motor No. P11-410936. The only item listed as 'Special Equipment' on the build card was 'A.T. Horn' (dual Air-Tune Horns). The vehicle was delivered on May 1, 1941 to the Armstrong-Welborn Dodge/Plymouth dealer in near-by Princeton, Indiana. This pre-war business coupe is also equipped with running boards, driver side-view mirror, ventilator windows, dual sun visors, dual windshield wipers, and Mopar heater that was likely dealer-installed.
