This nicely equipped Ranger sedan is equipped with the optional 292 V8 and automatic transmission. The car also has RARE power steering. Also an unusual windshield visor nobody has ever seen before in the Edsel circles. It's a very cool accessory and goes well with the accessory side window vent shades.
EXCELLENT running V8. Starts right up with one turn of the key. No smoke. No strange noises. Clean and detailed engine bay (see pics). Newer Coker white wall tires, a $1300 investment! Clean and mostly original interior with some very comfortable and pleasing, black velvet style seat covers. The original factory covers are said to still be in place also. Under the new and in not terrible condition.
Not a perfect car. Original chrome bumpers are showing tarnish as is some of the original trim. Only rust is at the very rear body panel under the license plate. THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS SPOTLESS! Clean and straight outer body panels. An older but very decent repaint of the original black. This is the perfect entry level cruising and reliable classic car. Not a blue ribbon car but the price reflects that. It's instead a very stand up, drivable classic. One not ever to be ashamed of and one you need to be ready to gather crowds around. Few of these cars survived. Not many were built to begin with and most ended in a tragic fate being a very inexpensive used car in the 1960's and 70's. Few got the respect they deserve. Change that with this 59 Ranger.
