The Ford Pickup is one of America’s most popular pickup trucks. These trucks were built Ford tough and have seen many redesigns during it’s generations. The fifth generation of F-100 is referred to as the bumpside generation. During this period, Ford began to focus more on making their F-series the pickup for everyone, and added more engine choices and trim levels than had really been considered previously.
This ’70 Ford F-100 Ranger is still painted in it’s original paint. No Repaint and no Filler/bondo can be found on this truck. It’s solid steel with original aged patina! The overall style of the exterior hasn’t seen any major changes, but a few key upgrades have been added. Such as the Polished Stainless Bumper/Grille Guards, the Delta Bed Tool Box and of course the 20” Steel Wheels wrapped in BRAND NEW Michelin Tires.
Under hood is a healthy 5.0L 302 V8 fitted with a chrome air cleaner and chrome Moroso Valve Covers. An Edelbrock Performer 4BBL Carb. Helps insure a good amount of fuel delivery to engine and the Long-Tube headers with Cherry Bombs & side exit exhaust insures the engines roars at maximum volume! This truck is fitted also with a C4 3-Speed Automatic Transmission and Power Assist Drum Brakes!
Now the interior is not as a original as the exterior. The door panels have been replaced and a custom bench seating has been installed. The Original Dash gauge cluster is showing 74K Miles. This was originally a manual driven truck, but it was been swapped over to an automatic. The B&M Mega-Shift Floor Shifter is equipped with a Hard Cider Bar Tab and give this truck a little character!
