1934 Ford Phaeton Custom Convertible. Exceptionally nice show quality build of a rare Phaeton model (1 of only 3657 produced). Still wearing its original Henry Ford steel that has undergone a complete professional frame-off restoration with great attention to detail. It is powered by a GM 350ci V8 engine with aluminum Brodix heads and a B&M blower with four Mikuni carburetors. It has a rebuilt Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission turning a C3 Corvette rear end. The engine compartment is trimmed out with many chrome and machined aluminum components. It features a Walker radiator with two electric fans, Triton chrome power starter, polished stainless-steel headers and exhaust, stainless brake lines and fittings with a Monte Carlo front disc brake kit featuring C3 Corvette rear calipers and stainless pucks, and Posie front and rear springs. All of the suspension components have been chromed or polished. A polished stainless gas tank, and stainless-steel bumpers and bumper guards. Finished in a DuPont Pitch Black acrylic enamel that shows like a mirror with excellent body panel gaps and fitment. It rides on four special-built Dayton wire wheels wrapped in Michelin tires with two identical spares on either side of the car. The highly detailed interior features leather style upholstery and plush carpet, rebuilt original oil, gas, AMP, temp and speedometer gauges, a Jennie shifter and hand brake and a banjo steering wheel. The canvas convertible top has oak wood bows and a rear window. Luggage rack is mounted with chromed brackets, and the chassis has been sandblasted, boxed and painted with the underside showing as well as the top. Again this is an exceptional museum quality national level show car that would far exceed the asking price to duplicate. Coming out of one of the most prized museum/collections in the World.
