1960 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan Deville 4dr Hardtop, 6-Window

examples of a 1960 Cadillac you will find on the market today.
Production on 6 Window Sedan 4 dr. was 22,579 in 1960. The Cadillac
Sedan De Ville is one of the 62 Series model family from Cadillac.
Its engine is a naturally aspirated, 6.4 litre, V 8 cylinder with 2
valves per cylinder. In this application it produces 325 bhp of
power at 4800 rpm, and maximum torque of 583 at 3100 rpm. A 4 speed
automatic 'box transfers the power to the driven wheels.
The Cadillac DeVille was originally a trim level and later a
separate model produced by Cadillac. The first car to bear the name
was the 1949 Coupe de Ville, a pillarless two-door hardtop body
style with a prestige trim level above that of the Series 62 luxury
coupe. The last model to be formally known as a DeVille was the
2005 Cadillac DeVille, a full-size sedan, the largest car in the
Cadillac model range at the time. The next year, the DeVille was
officially renamed the Cadillac DTS.
