For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Nova in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

This is a no expense spared, rotisserie restored car. It's bad ass with class! Jekyll is the leather upholstery, show quality detail and overdrive for cruising. Hyde is a blown engine sticking out of the hood, mini tubs housing fat tires and an exhaust that growls.

EXTERIOR: The stance, the handsome lines, and that polished scoop sticking out of the hood say, "I'm one mean machine!" The body is straight and fits right. No rust or damage. The jet black paint is polished like a mirror. It has burgundy ghost stripes and Nova SS on the quarter panels. The chrome sparkles, glass is clear, weatherstrips are soft. The Torque Thrust wheels are extra wide in back with some meaty tires.

INTERIOR: First class interior! Handmade genuine leather upholstery on the seats, door panels, armrests, and kick panels. Down on the floor is premium square loop carpet and mats with bound edges. It has an original center console with the updated overdrive shift indicator. Overhead is a suede headliner and visors. New factory gauges in the dash along with a boost gauge and tachometer with shift light. The touch screen stereo is also a backup camera, custom speakers are incorporated into the car. It also has power windows. It has a tilt column with a custom wheel, billet pedals and a roll bar. Complete wire harness from Haywire Inc, interior lights work.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This motor compartment is dressed to impress! Full of polished aluminum parts. It has the muscle to back up its cocky attitude too with a blown Blueprint crate motor. It's a 383 stroker with a polished 671 Weiand blower on top with FI Tech fuel injected dual quads. It also has Flowtec aluminum heads, a comp cam, coated headers and electronic ignition. Way up on top is a polished scoop with flappers. It stays cool with dual electric fans, an aluminum water pump, radiator, and overflow bottle. The engine bay is painted glossy and has custom inner fenders. Supports from the firewall to the subframe help keep things straight.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the lid and jamb are painted slick. Inside has been boxed and very nicely upholstered including the battery box. Carpeted floor.

UNDERSIDE: It has a TCI full chassis. Up front is Mustang ll independent suspension and subframe system. It has rack & pinion steering, tubular control arms, coil over adjustable shocks and swaybar. Frame connectors with a safety loop brace prevent body twist. In back is a 4 link with panhard bar and adjustable coilovers. Currie Superstreet 4-wheel disc brake system with new lines and e-brake assembly. Fat custom made exhaust with dumps and x-pipe. It's all welded, ceramic coated, and the tailpipes are neatly tucked up under the car with turn down tips. New fuel system including tank and fuel pump. Art Carr performance 200R-4 overdrive automatic with remote oil cooler. Completely rebuilt driveshaft. Narrowed Curry 9 inch rear end with the performance axle package. Clean metal floors were prepped and undercoated; it is mini tubbed for the fat rear tires.

SERVICE: Our shop inspected the car and repaired the reverse lights and replaced a brake light bulb.

There are only 4,200 miles on the complete rotisserie restoration. The Blueprint crate engine has only 1, 000 miles. It is very street friendly; it was purpose built for an easy start and drive anywhere. It will run 75-80 mph at 2100 RPM. It comes with a binder of invoices.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum.
