Less than 1,500 miles on this gasser style show and go car! It's
been rotisserie restored, a binder of documentation is included. It
is very drivable; it was driven a couple hours just to get
here!
EXTERIOR: Classic gasser look with the jacked up front end and
monster size tires in back. California rust free body was taken
down to a bare shell, we have pictures. It is straight, clean and
fits nice. The Super Stock hood scoop was added to cover the carb
sticking through the hood. Beautiful Hot Hues Blazing Copper. The
chrome and trim sparkles. The glass was all replaced. It's sitting
on some chrome Crager wheels: skinnies in front and extra wide in
back. They're wearing Hoosier Pro Street tires.
INTERIOR: It's a very well restored interior. Recushioned and
upholstered seats. It looks like 4 bucket seats, in front it has a
fold down armrest cushion. Reproduction door panels. It has a
B&M ratchet shifter on the floor. In front of you is a custom
instrument panel with a matched set of gauges. The giant tachometer
is mounted on the dash. The tilt column has a vintage style cushion
grip wheel. Racing style seat belts.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Yes, it's a Hemi! 528ci block with Indy Legend
aluminum heads, Indy intake, roller rockers, Doug's ceramic coated
headers and MSD pro billet distributor. Runs on premium pump gas,
10.25:1 compression. Always runs cool with an aluminum water pump,
radiator, and overflow bottle. It's made pretty with a polished
intake, aluminum valve covers, stainless radiator hose, chrome
alternator and pulleys.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rock solid metal. The entire trunk compartment
is painted copper. The battery is relocated to the trunk and has a
disconnect switch. The mat and weatherstrip are in excellent
shape.
UNDERSIDE: Up front has a chromed straight axle with leaf springs.
This redistributes the weight to the rear tires. It has a tubular K
member, welded in frame connectors and in back the leaf springs
were relocated inward for the wide tires. All the suspension and
steering has been rebuilt. TTI exhaust with X-pipe, electric dumps
and Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel tank was replaced, it has an
electric fuel pump. The brakes were rebuilt and upgraded with disc
in front inside the trunk is rock solid It's all painted the same
copper color has the two-piece trunk mat batteries relocated to the
trunk and has a disconnect. 8 quart aluminum oil pan on the motor.
Level 4 GearStar 727 Torqueflite automatic with 3400 stall and
finned aluminum pan. Custom built and balanced drive shaft.
Performance built 8 3/4 rear end with Auburn 3.91 Sure Grip gears.
The floors appear to be very dry; it is a California car.
SERVICE: We did our inspection, and we replaced the fuel sending
unit, calibrated the speedometer and replaced the turn signal
canceler.
How about some old school cool? This Hemi powered, gasser style
Dodge is show quality and ready to cruise!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
