Vehicle Description
This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 received a full restoration 8 years
ago and an upgraded rebuilt 428ci Cobra Jet V8, which is paired
with a four-speed manual gearbox. Features include a hood scoop, a
rear wing, factory air conditioning, power steering, an AM/FM
radio, MSD ignition, and front and rear disc brakes. Refinished in
Indian Fire Metallic over a black vinyl interior.
As part of the restoration process carried out in 2015, the
exterior was repainted Indian Fire Metallic with black and yellow
Mach 1 side stripes. Flat black covers most of the hood and the
rear spoiler. Features include a chin spoiler, chrome bumpers, fog
lights, hood pins, a hood scoop, body-color mirror caps, side
scoops, rear Mach 1 striping, quad exhaust finishers, and reverse
lights.
The cabin is furnished with a black dashboard, a matching center
console and door panels, black carpeting, and black vinyl seating
consisting of high-back bucket seats in the front and a pair of
connected fold-down seats in the rear. Simulated woodgrain trim is
located on the door panels, dashboard, center stack, and center
console. Equipment includes manual windows, a manual remote
driver-side mirror, power steering, factory air conditioning, an
AM/FM radio, and a original clock.
Vehicle information is displayed on a 120-mph speedometer and
gauges for the alternator, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil
pressure.
This Mustang left Ford's San Jose, California factory with a 351ci
V8, but it now has a rebuilt 428ci Cobra Jet V8 with MSD ignition.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual
transmission.
