This Eleventh generation Thunderbird was produced for only three
years, 2002-2005. After being on hiatus for several years, Ford
introduced a new Thunderbird for 2002. Returning to the original
formula for the Thunderbird, the latest version had a two-seat
coupe/convertible layout like the first-generation Thunderbird and
"retro-futuristic" styling to match. The eleventh generation
Thunderbird shared the same platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar
S-Type.
The 2003 Thunderbird is powered by Ford/Jaguar designed AJ-26 4.0
liter V8 producing 252 horsepower with 267 lb/ft of torque. The
engine is mated to Ford's 5-speed automatic transmission. Only
produced for three years, this 11th generation Thunderbird has been
pampered from new and remains is almost as new condition
throughout, with extremely limited mileage from new.
The Thunderbird offers the best of both worlds; a convertible when
weather permits or a hard top coupe with its' factory hard top
installed. It is accompanied by its original wheels, car cover and
battery tender. This Thunderbird is serviced and ready for
