Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this Total
Performance 1923 Ford T-Bucket. Its been said, the first drag race
began as soon as the second car came off the assembly line. The
Ford "T-Bucket" without question was the go to platform for early
American hot rodders as they pieced together their hi-performance
dreams as cheaply as possible. Many of the first "T-Buckets" were a
conglomeration and hodge-podge of miss matched parts and pieces as
an obsession for more power possessed many young men as they
wrenched on their machines. Beginning with a Total Performance body
& chassis, this hot rod was stuffed with a ZZ383/425hp crate motor
featuring two Edelbrock 500s up top, Dynamic 350 automatic trans,
and a Currie 9" rear diff. Wilwood disc brakes, on the front and
rear, make this light weight rocket stop on a dime and offer you
change all while spinning quintessential Dayton wire wheels. The
list of top shelf parts used to create this beast is extensive and
the current owner has a folder of receipts! To build this 23-T
today would easily cost twice the purchase price. If you're into
old school cool then make sure TPA -2666 is on your bucket list.
