This is a "Cool" 65 GTO that has undergone a recent restoration, done in very nice Montero Red, basecoat clearcoat with black vinyl top, at the time of restoration had new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original in very good condition, original window stainless and upper door trim in very good condition, new weather stripping and window felts, new black vinyl top, new side view mirrors, new door handles, original grills in very good condition, original headlight bezels in good condition, re-chromed front bumper, new wheel well and rocker moldings, new GTO emblems, new taillight bezels, center tail panel applique has been re-chromed in excellent condition, re-chromed rear bumper.
Factory black interior, factory original dash in very good condition, new padded dash pad, original GTO grab handle, original instrument cluster in very good condition, updated with factory in dash tach, retro-fit AM/FM stereo, trio of gauges nicely mounted under dash, 3 spoke wood wheel, at time of restoration had new headliner, new front and rear door panels; as well as arm rest and bases, new front and rear seat covers, front seat belts, original 4 speed center console in good condition, factory Muncie shifter with wood knob, new carpet and deluxe floor mats.
Under the hood the original motor has been replaced with a 400 4 barrel, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, updated with electronic ignition, chrome valve covers, RamAir air cleaner, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back, power steering, nicely updated with power front disc brakes, this strong running 400 is backed up with a M21 Muncie 4 speed, factory 10 bolt posi rear with 355 gear, nicely updated with F41 suspension which has boxed lower control arms and rear sway bar.
Rides on a set of new Chrome "REV" Classics with Cooper Cobra tires 15x7 up front with 215/65/15 and 15x8 out back with 245/60/15.
Factory jack and spare. All though this appears to be a GTO it is a LeMans that has been cloned.
