For Sale: 1976 Chevrolet Nova in Kentwood, Michigan

Vehicle Description

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this exceptionally low mile and one family owned 1976 Chevrolet
Nova for your consideration. Showing only 7018 miles on the odometer, this example is powered by the
original 250ci inline-6 motor that routes power to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission.
Having been stored indoors and seldom driven throughout the vehicle's history, this Nova remains in
impeccable condition. The motor fires right up before quickly settling into a smooth idle. Out on the
road, the transmission shifts wonderfully between gears. Overall, it is truly an enjoyable driving
experience.
Finished in the original paint of Lime, this Nova presents itself extremely well. Complementing the paint
are paint-matched wheels wrapped in the original tires. Moving to the interior, one will note the great
condition of the plaid seats. Despite not having a radio, power steering, power brakes, or air
conditioning, the wonderful interior makes for a pleasant experience whenever you're behind the
wheel. This vehicle is also accompanied by the original spare tire and bumper jack which is a unique
feature that further speaks to the originality of this low-mile example.
The 1976 Chevrolet Nova, a compact car produced by General Motors, represented the continuation of
the model's third generation, which began in 1968. By the mid-1970s, the Nova had evolved from its
early days as a compact economy car to a more substantial and stylish vehicle. In 1976, the Nova
underwent minimal changes in terms of design and mechanics, reflecting the industry's focus on
meeting new safety and emission regulations rather than revolutionary alterations. Available in various
body styles, including the popular two-door coupe and four-door sedan, the Nova featured a range of
engine options, catering to a diverse customer base. Although it marked the end of Nova's third
generation, the 1976 model played a role in the transition of American car design and manufacturing
during a period of significant regulatory changes in the automotive industry. Please call or email with
