Vehicle Description
- SALE PENDING -
For final year of the Corvette C2, the 1967 Corvette received
significant style and power upgrades. Redesigned fender vents, new
rear lighting styles and an upgraded interior were complimented by
great increases in horsepower. As the C3 Corvettes were met with
varying degrees of reception due to their extreme styling, the '67
is highly sought after for its classic design and impressive
performance.
This 1967 Corvette is currently under consignment at Motor City
Classic Cars by an owner that specifically sought out a Marlboro
Maroon Vette to rekindle the passion he had for driving his first
Corvette, a Maroon '66. Under current ownership for 10-years, the
owner has spent countless hours and resources to get this car into
its current state. Repainted to its original Malboro Maroon
approximately 6-years ago, the exterior of the car shows great and
the rare color draws tremendous attention. The black stinger hood
correlates with the car's black interior with rare headrests. The
seller shared that this car was born with a 427ci motor but doesn't
bear its original block due to a mechanic dropping a bolt into the
carburetor while the car was running. That bolt, recovered after it
went through the cylinder wall, serves as the car's keychain today.
With side-exhaust, you can hear all 390hp begging you to get behind
the wheel of this Corvette. The current owner's goal in restoring
this car was to build something that could be driven and enjoyed
anytime anywhere and he accomplished his task well.
Unless stated otherwise, mileage shown on odometer is exempt and
unknown if original.
