Gateway Classic Cars of Charlotte is proud to present this 1982
Chevrolet Corvette Collectors Edition. Finished in classic
Collector Edition Silver Beige with matching interior. This
Corvette is the last year for this body style and is the rare and
desired Collectors Edition. The 1982 Corvette was the last model of
the C3 generation, ending a production run that began all the way
in 1968. Under the hood sits a Cross-Fire Fuel Injection 5.7 Liter
V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Twin throttle-body
injectors with computerized metering helped boost horsepower to 200
(10 more than in 1981) and cut emissions at the same time and was
the first fuel-injected Corvette in nearly two decades. This set-up
had a much different type of fuel-injection system since
mini-computerization had arrived. Its unique Silver-Beige metallic
paint shows well, and the matching interior is a nice touch. Even
the Collector Edition's hand-sewn leather-wrapped steering wheel
kept the theme color. Options on this 1982 Chevrolet Corvette
Collectors Edition include: Air Conditioning, Aluminum Wheels,
AM/FM Radio, Cruise Control, Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power
Locks, Power Steering, Power Windows, Radial Tires, Seatbelts,
Tilt-Steering Wheel, and T-Tops.
