Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to present this
slick white 1969 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coupe. First produced in
1964, the "4-4-2" designation indicated "Four-barrel Carb,
Four-speed manual transmission, and Dual Exhaust". As time rolled
on, the 442 designation was an indication that the car was a potent
street and strip performer, right off the showroom floor. While it
may be a 54-year-old ride, the big 400 CID V8 under the hood has
plenty of power to leave a ton of BF Goodrich radial rubber behind
you! Topping that 400 is an Edelbrock 4BBL Carb (instead of a
Rochester QuadraJet); and behind that, a GM TH400 3-speed automatic
transmission sends the power to the 12-bolt rear end. While
stepping into this muscle car, you'll notice the blue synthetic
leather interior, light blue carpeting, and light blue headliner;
all of which are complementary to the exterior striping, which is
done in a very dark blue metallic (so dark, in fact, that they look
black from a distance). Other features include A/C (blows, but not
cold), AM/FM radio, American Racing 17" Aluminum Wheels, Power
Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, and (rear) Seat Belts. When
it comes to American Muscle cars the 442 is a stout performer, so
give our Houston Showroom a call or send us an email, and we'll
help you add it to your collection!
