For Sale: 1968 Chevrolet Corvette in Mooresville, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

HIGHLIGHTS: First year C3 Corvette! Recent repaint! Rare hardtop included! ZZ crate engine and 4-speed manual!

BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Corvette is in great shape for the age. 1968 was the first year for what became the last era of chrome bumper Corvettes, and the chrome on this car presents nicely. Please note that the chrome trim on the hood is not present. The addition of a front splitter was a bold choice, but it paid off and gives this Corvette a mean look! This car is the perfect vehicle to cruise and to take to local events.

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint on this car has a brilliant shine to it, and shows very well! Originally finished in white, the current red color looks fantastic and is the perfect choice on a classic Corvette. There's nothing like a little red Corvette!

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: If you have a red car, you're probably going to want a black interior-that's just the way we like it! The interior is in great shape but is showing some age as seen in the photos. This car left the factory with a black vinyl 'standard' interior, and it currently has the correct interior in it. The stereo has been previously exchanged for an aftermarket Pioneer cassette deck, but the deck fits the dash and looks right at home!

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Powering this Corvette is a ZZ crate engine, which provides more than enough power to have a little fun in this car. This car also has a 4-speed manual transmission, which is almost an essential feature on these cars. Nothing quite like rowing your own gears in a classic 'Vette! Sitting on 17" American Racing Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in meaty tires, this car has an aggressive stance that is hard not to love. Last but not least, the cherry on top is the side pipe exhaust-that's right, they aren't just for decoration!

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: It's a red C3 Corvette!

WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This car has been mildly customized, and is not 100% factory original. This may be a turn off for some buyers.
