Finished in a two-tone exterior Blue and White with Beige
upholstery. Excellent gaps and panel fit. Equipped with pop-out
side window vents, US reflectors, a radio antenna, and a Leistritz
muffler. The interior features front bucket seats and rear bench
seats that are upholstered in textured Beige vinyl with matching
door and side panels. New front floor mats and seat belts have been
recently installed, and the bus is equipped with a ceiling-mounted
air conditioner and a period Sapphire XI AM radio with speakers
behind the front seats. The black dash houses a stock instrument
cluster with a two-spoke VW steering wheel. The 14" steel wheels
are painted white with Hankook Kinergy GT tires (date coded 2020)
with chrome VW hubcaps.
The following work has been recently done including new shocks,
seatbelts, front floor mats, new tires, headlights, rear
taillights, and a VW horn have been installed. The fuel sender and
gauge have been replaced with NOS parts. The braking system has
been rebuilt. The windshield wipers have been replaced, all
exterior lights have been repaired, and the carburetors have been
rebuilt. Additionally, a new fuel filter has been installed, along
with a new battery, radio, antenna, and speakers.
This VW bus is powered by a 1,700cc flat-four engine with a
four-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drum brakes. It is in
excellent overall condition and has been recently serviced. A great
opportunity to acquire a reliable and well-maintained VW bus.
