1949 MG TC
Recently purchased by us out of long-term ownership this this a
wonderful example of the iconic MG TC. Our elderly Ohio owner
purchased the car long ago out of California, where it spent its
early life. A ground up restoration was undertaken and the result
is what you see here- a wonderful TC with a gently aged patina
following a quality restoration.
Quality is evident thought this MG- just look at the photos and you
will see beautiful paint, chrome, interior and engine compartment.
The numbers matching engine is present and performs just as one
would expect. These cars just make you smile...are you gonna get
any speeding tickets? Most likely not but you are gonna get a lot
of smiles per mile- guaranteed.
Finished in British Racing Green over a black interior every nut
and bolt on this TC has been touched and restored to a very nice
level. The paint presents quite nicely as does the interior and
dash. The chrome was all replated and is holding up quite well down
to the correct Lucas markings on the lights. We have a top and side
curtains that could best be called "serviceable" that will go with
the car.
There is also a wonderful set of car show badges from the 50's in
California that are cool and a nice bit of history for this TC.
Please note, this TC is titled on an Ohio title to the car's engine
number- not uncommon back in the day but we just wanted to mention
it.
Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized
possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
